About Us

Family Care Health Centers opened its door in 1969 in the Carondelet community in south St. Louis City due to the alarming increase in the number of infant mortalities and low birth weight babies. Today two centers, located in historic Carondelet and in Forest Park South East (also known as The Grove) serve over 20,000 with services including medical, dental, behavioral health, vision, WIC, nutrition and social services.
